The Anvil Coffee Shop

The Anvil Coffee Shop is set in a wonderful, medieval building on Syme's Corner in Bishops Waltham. The shop has been personally renovated by proprietor, Fred Woodfine and has a charming, medieval atmosphere with a hint of French fancy. Inside, you will be tempted by Coffees of Distinction, from a mild Columbian Paramillo to a full bodied Sumatran Barisan.
There are Teas from around the world, home-cooked food from soup, toasted sandwiches and a variety of light snacks to Cornish Clotted Cream Teas and delicious Butter Puddings. The shop will cater for any special dietary needs.
Open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm Mon to Sat and 9.30 to 5pm on Sunday, you stand a good chance of catching your wonderful host, Fred in his dancing shoes when you will get a glimpse of his singing and dancing talents!
The setting is family orientated; children and animals are welcome every day of the week.
